Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026
This policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit or buy from this website, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it.

Who we are

Sageholt is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at support@sageholt.com for any question about your data or this policy.

Information we collect

Information you give us: name, email address, delivery and billing address, phone number, and the contents of any message you send us.
Payment information: card and wallet details are entered directly with our payment provider. We never see or store your full card number.
Information collected automatically: IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, referring site, and similar usage data collected through cookies and tracking pixels.

How we use your information

To process and deliver your order and handle returns and refunds (performance of a contract); to answer your questions and provide customer support (legitimate interests); to prevent fraud and secure the website (legitimate interests); to comply with tax, accounting and consumer law obligations (legal obligation); and to send you marketing emails or show you ads, where you have consented (consent). You can withdraw consent at any time.

Who we share it with

We share data only with the providers that make the shop work: our ecommerce platform, our payment provider, the carriers that deliver your parcel, our email and customer-support tools, and analytics and advertising platforms. Each of them processes the data on our instructions. We also disclose data where the law requires it. We do not sell your personal data.

Cookies

We use cookies that are strictly necessary for the site and the basket to function, plus analytics and advertising cookies that help us measure performance and show relevant ads. You can accept or decline non-essential cookies in the banner, and you can delete cookies at any time in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may break checkout.

International transfers

Some of our providers store data outside the United Kingdom. Where that happens, the transfer is covered by an adequacy decision or by standard contractual clauses with appropriate safeguards.

How long we keep it

Order and transaction records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires (normally six years). Support conversations are kept for up to two years. Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or send it to another provider. To exercise any of these, email support@sageholt.com — we reply within one month. If you're not happy with our answer you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Children

This website is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the shop or the law changes. The date at the top always shows the current version.
